Tracking goals and streaks are a great way to make training habit forming and rewarding.
If you are used to using any fitness app like a Fitbit, you'll be very familiar with the concept of goals and streaks, and we have our own very special version of goals and streaks in the Be Right Back app.
So let's have a look at those.
Click on goals and streaks and click show.
So think about that.
Set yourself a reasonable goal.
Don't make it crazy and pop the number in the first box.
Then you can think about, well, what if I had a really good week?
What would be my stretch goal?
The stretch goal is the goal, the number of times you might train if you knocked it out of the park in a certain week.
So here I've put four for my stretch goal, so I think that I can achieve three training sessions this week. I think I've got a really good chance of achieving three training sessions.
Four will be a challenge, four will be a stretch, so I'll put that in as my stretch goal and I save it.
Now what the app is going to do is going to monitor how many times you train in a week, and if you meet your goal for that week, it will count that as one of your streak.
If you meet your goals two weeks running, you're on a two week streak. If you do it three weeks in a row, you run a three week streak and so on. Your overall goal is to keep that streak going.
Remember if you are away or if you just don't have time to train, just make it super easy. Just make the goal so easy you can't miss it, and then that way you'll continue your streak.
